Journeyman Electrician – Full-Time | Albuquerque, NM

First Class Electric is now hiring full-time Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. This role includes the installation, repair, and modification of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and light industrial projects. If you’re a licensed electrician with a focus on safety, reliability, and craftsmanship, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview

As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll handle the safe installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components. This includes work on climate control systems, security systems, communications equipment, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Install wiring, fixtures, switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues across various systems

• Test equipment and systems for safety and functionality

• Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License, EE98J

• Minimum 2 years of electrical experience

• Proficient with electrical tools and diagnostic equipment

• Solid understanding of electrical codes and design specifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to safety and excellent customer service

Job Details

• Type: Full-Time

• Pay: Starting at $32.00 per hour

• Schedule: 4x10s – four 10-hour days per week

• Worksite: In-person, Albuquerque, NM
